Stand by,as our History Interest and Learning Centre which unlocks the doorway to our history through historically themed displays,will soon be ready to visit!
Our centre will be packed full of history for all to appreciate.
A true learning centre,it is our way of not only hoouring those who serve and sacrifice, but its our way of preserving history by education. Where we do not have authentic period items, we may incorporate high-quality reproductions.
We will make available some of the over 2000 on-camera veteran interviews with the military and historical artifacts, much donated from veterans we’ve interviewed along the way, will be on permanent display. We will cycle our displays to ensure there is always something fresh, interesting, and new to see.
We wil also incorporate general interst history into displays throughout the year, as well as occasional speakers with interesting subject matter to discuss and present to the community. It will be a learning experience for all.
We are in need of financial support as well as donations of militaria,uniforms, helmets,daggers, flags, posters and historical general interest items.
