Canadian flags commemorate fallen soldiers

One hundred and sixteen flags are currently lining Hwy. 11 near Sylvan Lake in honour of Canadian soldiers who have lost their lives. The Flags of Remembrance will be on display until Nov. 15th.

EDMONTON — It’s a show of support that’s causing motorists in central Alberta to stop and remember; more than 100 flags have been set up along a Highway 11 to honour fallen Canadian soldiers.
